Simplicity Rules the Red Carpet This Week

This week's best dressed stars prove that less can be more. From Paris Fashion Week to New York City events, celebrities opted for elegant, understated looks that let interesting silhouettes and bold accessories take center stage.

From the fall 2025 men’s shows in Paris, to the annual Sundance Film Festival in Park City, there were plenty of splashy red carpet moments this week. The best dressed stars of the week, however, were those who leaned into simplicity rather than peacocking: Quiet, elegant looks made an impact thanks to interesting silhouettes and striking accessories. Turns out, subtle flourishes can have a high reward.

In Paris, supermodel Kate Moss had the paparazzi going wild at the Dior show: She turned heads in the label’s simple silky white shirt dress. The look nodded back to the clean, unfussy designs of the ’90s—when she dominated the catwalks, of course. In New York City, Anora star Mikey Madison also did fresh suiting in a black tailoring look by The Row, complete with the customary white shirt and tie. (Classics are classics for a reason.) Other stars dialed up their pared-back outfits with skin-bearing hemlines. At the Jacquemus show, Tyla put her stamp on the naked dress, favoring a maxi gown with completely open sides. At the Louis Vuitton presentation, Sabrina Elba opted for a saucy mini leather dress by the brand, matching with husband Idris Elba in his leather trench. Two statements looks are better than one! Which were your favorite celebrity looks this week? Vote below, and check back on Friday to see who Vogue readers crowned best dressed
