Biles said she had “put on a front” during competition and “suppressed her emotions” for so many years, but it finally “cracked” when she stepped on the Olympic scene. Asked if she still gets the twisties — which is when a gymnast becomes disoriented while performing a twist in the air — Biles said she no longer does twists in her floor routines on the Gold Over America Tour, instead opting to do the double layout half out, one of her signature moves that doesn’t require twisting."To do something that I’ve done forever and just not be able to do it because of everything I’ve gone through is really crazy because I love this sport so much," Biles said.
