The former Crystal Palace owner-turned talkSPORT co-host was at the helm at Selhust Park whilst Zaha was rising through the ranks at the club.Zaha got off the mark for his new club at the weekend, but Jordan wants to see him at a 'bigger' clubAs a lifelong Palace fan, Jordan has been able to follow Zaha's journey from the Palace youth team to club legend and he's always been a huge fan of the former England international.
"No, I'm just saying, to your beloved Brighton. Obviously he gave up a proportion of his career because opportunities didn't exist for him to go somewhere else and Palace couldn't get the money." Zaha insists he's now reaching the heights he wanted to reach at his new club after building his legacy at Selhust Park. However, Jordan doesn't quite agree with the winger's take.
"There were opportunities to go somewhere else, Arsenal were interested in him at one point but they wouldn't pay Palace £60m. So there was opportunities for him to go bigger football clubs."The United thing is a sad situation for him because it was the last signing [Sir Alex] Ferguson made. He then goes into the season with United in transition.
