Simon Cowell has broken his silence after breaking his back in three places at his Malibu home and undergoing six hours of surgery.
'Some good advice...' he tweeted. 'If you buy an electric trail bike, read the manual before you ride it for the first time. I have broken part of my back. Thank you to everyone for your kind messages.' A representative confirmed the injury to Deadline, telling them, 'He hurt his back and was taken to the hospital. He's doing fine, he's under observation and is in the best possible hands.'
Filming for the talent show kicked off on Sunday without him, but judge Sofia Vergara sent her well wishes to Simon on Instagram, sharing a photo on set and captioning it, ' We miss our boss!! Come back fast @simoncowell!!'
