Emery Osborne of Columbia City was walking her dog this morning when she went missing, according to police. The dog returned home, but not her. A search is now underway.

COLUMBIA CITY — Authorities are asking for the public's help finding a 12-year-old girl from the Fort Wayne area who went missing while walking her dog early Monday.

Emery Osborne of Columbia City was last seen about 7 a.m., according to a statewide Silver Alert issued shortly before noon. Emery is described as about 5 feet, 2 inches and 145 pounds. She was last seen wearing a maroon shirt, navy blue shorts and white flip-flops. She was walking her dog at the time.Anyone with more information is urged to call 911 or Indiana State Police at 260-432-8661.
