Silva hits out at Chelsea owners as he fears Blues could ‘make same mistakes’ next seasonThiago Silva thinks the Chelsea owners have overseen too much change this season after the Blues were knocked out of the Champions League on Tuesday.
Chelsea owners Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali have spent around £600m on new players over the last two transfer windows and Silva has admitted that the volume of signings has disrupted the Blues this season.“We can’t be blaming the managers if we don’t take responsibility. It’s a hard period for the club, with a lot of indecision.
“Some can’t make the squad, we signed eight in January, we need to stop and put a strategy in place otherwise next season we could make the same mistakes.”
