The Apple TV+ science-fiction series 'Silo', led by Rebecca Ferguson, has been renewed for a fourth and final season. Based on Hugh Howey's trilogy, the show will conclude its story across four seasons. The Rebecca Ferguson-led science-fiction show is about a massive fallout shelter in a post-apocalyptic future. The people in this future live in a giant silo beneath the earth in a culture that has strictly forbidden all remnants of the past. It’s a dystopian mystery with lots of surprises along the way, and it avoids the “mystery box” storytelling crutch that weakens so many of its contemporaries.
Season 2 is currently airing but we already have some good news from Apple for the future of the show, which is based on. Since the show is based on a trilogy, I always assumed it would get three seasons. And since Apple isn’t as cancel-happy as Netflix, once the second season was announced I was 99% sure we’d get a third.
