Silicon Metals Corp. has amended its option agreement with Cronin Exploration Inc. for the Longworth Silica Project, increasing the prepayment requirement for exploration expenditures.
Silicon Metals Corp. announced on December 19, 2024, that it has entered into an amendment agreement with Cronin Exploration Inc. regarding the Longworth Silica Project Option Agreement. This amendment allows the Company to earn a 100% interest in the project by prepaying exploration expenditures of $35,000 within 60 business days, an increase from the previous $25,000 requirement within 30 business days. Silicon Metals Corp.
is actively exploring silica projects in British Columbia, including the Ptarmigan Silica Project, the Silica Ridge Silica Project, and the Longworth Silica Project. The Company also holds an option to explore the Hedge Hog Project in central British Columbia. The company's securities trade on both the Canadian Securities Exchange (symbol 'SI') and the Frankfurt Stock Exchange (symbol 'X6U0')
