By the time you reach the mural puzzle in Silent Hill f, you'll be thoroughly accustomed to placing crests in walls and doors. This time, though, you'll face more cryptic clues than ever before. With three crests in hand and nine potential slots, attempting to solve this one through brute force won't get you far.

Before attempting to solve the mural puzzle, you'll have to explore the area to find three crests. These can be found by venturing to the west, south, and east of the area. You'll end up with a fox head facing forward, a black sparrow swooping down to the right, and a white sparrow rising to the left. Silent Hill F Mural Puzzle Solution Where To Place Each Crest The clue for Silent Hill f's mural puzzle vaguely describes the placement of each of the three crests. The relevant part of the clue reads as follows:The Fox brings along his followers in triumph.Identify the two foxes in conflict to place the Black Bird and White Bird. Near the tail end of the procession, one fox is attempting to pull a lantern away from another. Mural Puzzle New Game Plus Solution A Change Of Clues If you love Silent Hill f enough to continue onto NG+, you can receive a different puzzle while attempting a second ending. For the alternate puzzle, place the Black Bird on the lantern hanging from the palanquin, the White Bird on the lantern of the sleeping fox, and the Fox on the same fan. Once you've placed all three crests, the mural will melt away to reveal a door. As it does so, your objective will update from"Solve the Mural Puzzle" to"Go through the door." From here on out, you won't have much in the way of puzzles, so you can pat yourself on the back for making it through Silent Hill f's conundrums. 8/10 Silent Hill f 10 stars 9 stars 8 stars 7 stars 6 stars 5 stars 4 stars 3 stars 2 stars 1 star Like Follow Followed Survival Horror Action Systems OpenCritic Reviews Top Critic Avg: 87/100 Critics Rec: 89% Released September 25, 2025 ESRB Mature 17+ / Blood and Gore, Intense Violence, Partial Nudity Developer Neobards Entertainment Publisher Konami Engine Unreal Engine 5 9 Images Close
