Horror scenes have unfolded during the first quarter of the Thursday night contest between St Kilda and Collingwood at the MCG.
Footy fans were left holding their breath on Thursday night as the MCG came to a standstill following a sickening incident.
Cameron leapt off the ground and hauled in the mark as Wood and Zaine Cordy launched and attempted to spoil the mark. The game was brought to a halt moments later as medical staff rushed onto the ground to check on the midfielder. Jamie Elliot got the scoring started with the opening goal, but it didn’t take long for the Saints to answer back with Jack Higgins slotting a goal minutes later.
