A welfare check later that day would find Daniel Halseth's body at his home stabbed, burned and partially dismembered.At 16, Sierra is automatically charged as an adult, per Nevada state law regarding murder cases; however she cannot face the death penalty because of her age."Daniel Halseth was first and foremost a loving father, brother, and son, who was the heart of the Halseth family.
