Luke McSweeney, 24, and his sister Grace and her pals Nicole Murphy and Zoey Coffey, all 18, died as they were on their way to celebrate their exam results, before the tragedy.
A brother and sister are among a group of four youngsters who tragically died after their car hit a wall, on their way to celebrate exam results.
It is understood that they had been heading to celebrate after the three teenagers received their Leaving Certificate results on Friday before the horrendous crash.Superintendent Kieran Ruane, of Clonmel garda station, extended his sympathies to their families, who he said had appealed for privacy, CorkBeo reports. The scene at Hillview remains closed as officers carry out a forensic examination.
“The scene was very difficult, in very adverse weather conditions and the professionalism shown by all first responders and the care and respect shown to the four deceased was exemplary. "We want to take the opportunity to appeal to any person with any information on this road traffic collision to contact the investigation team at Clonmel Garda Station.
