The Environment Agency has installed phase one of flood barriers at Frankwell, Shrewsbury.

The EA's Chris Bainger told BBC Radio Shropshire the barriers were being erected as a "precautionary measure". He added all bodies of water around Shropshire including the Severn, Cound Brook and River Tern were "very full".Barriers have not yet had to go up in Ironbridge, the EA said.Follow BBC West Midlands on
