Ahead of a cold front, scattered showers are developing this morning. Some of the showers may produce brief moderate to heavy rain. Morning temperatures are mild, in the 40s.This afternoon, look for cloudy skies, showers at times, and highs in the low 50s. Southeasterly winds will range from 5-10 mph. Rain totals will range from a few hundredths of an inch to 0.25'. Tonight, the cold front moves east. A few showers are possible, with lows in the mid-40s.
The front will linger to our east Thursday, and as low pressure moves along the front, rain will clip eastern counties Thursday morning. The highest rain chances are in York and Lancaster Counties, where up to an additional 0.25' of rain will fall.As low pressure moves away, rain will end by lunchtime Thursday. Highs will reach the low-to-mid 50s, and northwesterly winds will increase to 10-20 mph. Friday will feature mostly sunny skies, and stronger wind speeds.
