Sen. Dianne Feinstein should resign and retire
In your question about Dianne Feinstein you mentioned the “practical good for all Californians.” I am a staunch believer in term limits. Therefore, regardless of age, politics, or position, yes, yes, yes she should resign as well as all the other career politicians. That is what will be good for California and America.In my most honest opinion, yes, Dianne Feinstein should definitely resign at this point.
However, there is a time when you need to put others before your own personal life. She is a powerful woman and someone who has had that much power for many years finds it hard to give it up. I think she can better serve in a leadership position as an intelligent mentor to Adam Schiff. He deserves to be given a chance to be elected by the people for the people.
I’m a 67 year old Black American woman who is a registered Democrat. Racism, ageism and sexism are real issues I confront everyday. I still believe in God and country. If it was me, I would love to have the chance to help select and train my successor. Life is good.Diane Feinstein should resign and the governor should appoint Barbara Lee.
Lee voted against the Iraq war and against the Patriot Act. Lee does not compromise her principals. She deserves the seat. California and the nation need her.
