Donald Trump appeared to have been injured and left bleeding after shots were fired at a rally in Pennsylvania.

Republican presidential candidate and former U.S. President Donald Trump reacts as multiple shots rang out during a campaign rally at the Butler Farm Show in Butler, Pennsylvania, U.S. REUTERS/Brendan McDermid Secret Service agents then swarmed the podium before Trump was seen getting up and defiantly raising a fist with blood running down his ear.
Heavily armed police officers trained assault rifles on the crowd as agents tended to Mr Trump and the microphone at the event picked up what appeared to be the words “shooter down” as the crowd also took cover and many screamed in fear.
