Shorter-dated Treasury yields jumped off their intraday lows on Wednesday, following the Federal Reserve's decision to lower interest rates by a quarter point to a range between 1.50% to 1.75%. The 2-year Treasury note yield TMUBMUSD02Y, -0.72% , sensitive to monetary policy expectations, was unchanged at 1.642%, coming off its session low of 1.612%.
