“It’s less about making everything warmer or cooler, and more about respecting the natural undertones that make your complexion unique,” Tanno recommends. “When your foundation disappears into the skin instead of sitting on top of it, everything else, from blush to bronzer to lipstick, feels more effortless and harmonious. ”No matter your skill level, the makeup artist recommends all levels to keep their routine simple.
“A beautifully blended complexion, soft dimension and a touch of color will always have more impact than using ten products you’re unsure how to apply,” Tanno shares. “Makeup should feel intuitive and expressive, not intimidating. ”“Long-lasting makeup begins long before the first product touches the skin,” reveals Tanno.
