Michael Blidi, a Milton Hershey grad, ended up trading in football training sessions for physical therapy sessions. It's all due to a shooting that changed his life. “I went to my front steps. I was going to take the keys out to open my front door and somebody hoped outside the car and I was shot," recalled Blidi.

Blidi graduated from Milton Hershey School gaining a scholarship to play football at Iowa Central Community College. He never expected a shooting outside his father’s home in Minnesota would happen and put his football career on pause. “I was never going to walk again," Blidi said that's what doctors told his family after the May shooting left the standout athlete critically hurt. Court documents said what started as an altercation during a basketball game at a park ended in gun violence few days later. “It felt like an out of body experience. I remember laying there not being able to move my legs," said Blidi. CBS reports police arrested one man whom they believe helped shooters. While investigators work the case Blidi turned his attention to one thing, fighting his way back."First I had to wear a chest brace and back brace to having gotten that off to now doing everything on my own and being able to walk," said Blidi.“It’s been on pause since then I’ve been able to watch football, and not physically be a part of it," said Blidi. If you had trouble getting through a certain road Tuesday morning, it's probably because of a unique situation a homeowner found thenselves in.Families across the country will never know if they received all of their loved ones ashes, causing "deep emotional harm," and the Department of Justice saysA Harrisburg man will spend the next two decades in federal prison after prosecutors say he ran a large drug trafficking operation out of a local business andAn Enola man has been sentenced after prosecutors said he sold and bought body parts online in an elaborate interstate theft ring.READ MORE |DOJ seeks 15-year
