Shots rang out at a Donald Trump rally in Butler County Saturday evening.
Video from the rally shows the former president grabbing the side of his face before going to the ground. People in the crowd can be heard screaming as Secret Service ran onto the stage to surround Trump.After several moments, Trump got back on his feet, with agents around him. There was blood on his head and face as he raised his fist toward the crowd and said something.The crowd went from screaming to chanting, 'USA.
UPDATE: “President Trump thanks law enforcement and first responders for their quick action during this heinous act,” spokesman Steven Cheung said in a statement. “He is fine and is being checked out at a local medical facility. More details will follow.”UPDATE: Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro said state police are investigating the shooting.The venue where the shooting occurred has been emptied. It is now a crime scene.
