DEVELOPING: US Naval Air Station Corpus Christi says it is on lockdown due to a reported shooting incident 'in the vicinity of the North Gate.'
At least one person was injured Thursday morning following reports of an active shooter at Naval Air Station Corpus Christi.
The naval air base in Nueces County, Texas, was on lockdown after security responded to an active shooter around 6:15 a.m. The shooter was"neutralized," the base said in a Facebook post.
