A deputy who worked the scene spoke with ABC13, saying the mother put her 14-year-old daughter in a chokehold to protect herself from police after a 25-mile-long high-speed chase.

"She essentially got out of the vehicle, walked around to the front of the car, opened the passenger side door," Peters said. "She grabbed an unknown female out of the passenger side and proceeded to grab her, take her out of the car where she, unfortunately, put her in what we would call a chokehold and put her in front of law enforcement."
She said it was fortunate that they had the volume of law enforcement officers on the scene that they did because the parking lot was broken into two scenes. From there, the deputy said she was able to put herself in a position to use her Taser on Henry without hitting her daughter.
