"The SABC is deeply saddened by the passing of formeractor Shona Ferguson who played the role of Dr. Leabua on the popular soapie. Mr Ferguson also appeared inMerlin Naicker, the group executive of SABC video entertainment, added:"The industry has lost a great filmmaker and actor.
Duma Ndlovu, executive producer for Word of Mouth, added his condolences:"Our thoughts and prayers are with the Ferguson family and fans during this difficult time, we are deeply saddened by the passing of our dear brother. We have lost a dedicated contributor in the film and television industry, who has been doing a remarkable work. We remember him for his unmistakable dedication and passion.
