Shocked Samke wins MoneyMakeover and the grand investment prize
Samke was the overall winner of the big investment prize, and Amanda was the runner-up. City Press personal finance editor Maya Fisher-French said what continued to amaze her was how quickly the candidates changed their financial lives by committing to the competition and listening to their allocated financial advisers.

“Your lives will not be going backwards and the lessons learnt on this journey will be with you for the rest of your lives,” he said.Absa’s head of communications, Songezo Zibi, said that the candidates were all very brave and courageous for putting their faces, lives and finances in the public spotlight.
