One of Kaizer Chiefs' big flop signings of the season will reportedly not be short of offers should he leave the club.
It is believed that Chiefs have already started working on and identifying player targets ahead of next season.
This publication reported last month that Chiefs will be prioritising the signing of a striker at the end of the season. That might be a surprise as the club signed at the beginning of the campaign. Unfortunately for the duo and the club management, however, they both haven’t had the desired effect as yet. Chivaviro has only managed two goals for Chiefs thus far. Those, however, are two goals more than fellow new striker signing Gonzalez, who is yet to get off the mark.
It was then not surprise when reports came out earlier this year, indicating Chiefs would part ways with Gonzales. But now, according to , will have no shortage of offers once he leaves the club. It is thought that teams from his native Colombia as well as Europe have shown interest in his services.“With Real Santa Cruz having struggled without the gangly Colombia who was their top scorer last season, it has prompted them to push for his early return. Whispers from South America suggest there is also an option of revisiting a proposed move to a club in Europe that was on the table before his arrival at Naturena.
Well wherever Gonzales ends up at the end of the season, Chiefs fans will be happy to see the back of him.
