With the 37-year-old's future at the Red Devils uncertain, Corinthians president Duilio Monteiro Alves has confessed that luring the five-time Ballon d'Or to Brazil would be a dream.
Speaking in a recent interview, Alves said that while he has not actually explored the possibility of signing Ronaldo, he would love to see the ex-Real Madrid man at his club."This is Corinthians! Aren't Willian and Renato Augusto here? In football everything is possible, and I have the obligation to give my best for Corinthians.
"Is it possible? I don't know. We didn't try, we didn't investigate, there was no such possibility, but we are keeping an eye on him.It is understood that Ronaldo could be involved in United's matchday squad for their Premier League season-opener against Brighton & Hove Albion on Sunday after Anthony Martial sustained an injury.
The forward, however, has featured for just 45 minutes in pre-season following his appearance in his side's most recent friendly against Rayo Vallecano.
