SHINee’s Onew To Sit Out Upcoming Concerts And Comeback Activities For Health Reasons
On June 9, SM Entertainment announced that Onew, who recently visited the hospital after experiencing health issues, would be following his doctor’s orders to get some medical care and proper rest. As a result, he will not be attending SHINee’s upcoming concerts and album activities, which will proceed solely with Key, Minho, and Taemin.First of all, we express our sincere gratitude toward all fans who love and support SHINee.
In celebration of SHINee’s 15th anniversary, the group held a fan meeting in May and has been preparing for their June concert as soon as they finished working on their 8th album’s release. After careful and extensive discussion with Onew and the group, a decision was made to have Onew focus on recovering for the time being as he will be unable to participate in the upcoming concert and album activities.
