'Shift in the forecast': Storm predications adjusted in Bay Area

The Bay Area has seen a nonstop parade of soaking storms this winter.

With the system expected to move more quickly than originally expected, the weather service has dropped projected rainfall totals slightly, mainly in valley areas. The San Jose area was originally forecast to record 0.75 inch and is now predicted to measure about 0.50 inch. Morgan Hill and Gilroy were projected to see 0.75 to 2 inches and are now likely to record 0.50 to 1.5 inches. The East Bay Hills went from 2 inches to 1.5 inches, San Francisco from 1.3 inches to 1.
