Amakhosi have seen four of their last five opponents lose a player to red cards and have come under-fire in recent weeks for a perceived difficulty in capitalising on their numerical advantage.
"I’ve read a lot of stories that we’ve not been able to play against men when the [opposition] team drops back into a low block, we're not able to break down the block," Sheppard said. "Tactically, we’ve worked on it. We’ve looked at how we’re breaking down teams and if you look at the opportunities we did create, it was a matter of the last touch, the last decision making and the execution. It wasn’t about breaking down the team, or the 10 men, I think we did do that it was just a matter of if the opportunities goes in.
