Duvall's family published the letter in the Blanco County Newspaper, thanking the city, and a sew of its residents especially, for their commitment to the late actress. The star of The Shining was born in Houston, Texas, and relocated to Los Angeles to pursue her acting career."We tried to convince her to move closer to Houston, but once she found a place near Blanco, she said, "THAT'S IT!" She never left Blanco."
The letter confirms Shelley's love for the city, saying she appreciates the community's support through the good times, and the challenging times alike.
