Shell Malaysia has officially launched its new first-party application for the EV scene, Shell Recharge. In conjunction with the launch, the fuel company is offering a special one-day promotion on 11 November 2025, nationwide from 12:00 a.

m. to 11:59 p.m., where EV drivers who charge at Shell Recharge High-Performance Charging sites will enjoy a promotional price of RM1.11 per kWh. Shell reveals that this promotion is organised by Pixelbyte Sdn Bhd, and is applicable only at the following Shell HPCs:• Shell LPT 2 R&R Paka KT Bound• Shell NSE Seremban R&R South Bound• Shell Tapah R&R South BoundAccording to Shell Malaysia, the offer is available only to registered users of the Shell Recharge app, with charging sessions made before registration excluded from eligibility. The company added that the promotional rate cannot be transferred, refunded, or exchanged for cash or other rewards. Shell also noted that users will not be entitled to the promotional rate if a charging session is interrupted, unsuccessful, refunded, or reversed. It further stated that Pixelbyte will not be held responsible for any issues or losses arising from participation in the promotion. The Shell Recharge application can be downloaded from Google Play and the App Store. The application comes with many features; however, the key feature is “Show Nearby Chargers”, which displays nearby Shell HPCs within a 20 km radius. Along with the location, it also provides the charging price per kWh and the number of available slots. Additionally, there is a feature to filter charging connectors, which include CCS, CHAdeMO, and Level 2/AC charging. To begin the charging process, users can access the Charge feature, where they must scan a QR code available at the charging station or enter the station ID. Other features include Active Sessions to track charging progress, as well as Payment and Charging Plans, which offers monthly charging subscriptions.
