BERLIN (Reuters) - More than one in four Germans have no interest in the upcoming Euro 2024 hosted by their country, the biggest sports event in Germany in almost two decades, a poll conducted for public broadcaster ARD showed on Wednesday.
Indonesian DJ duo Diskoria is set to share the stage with Malaysian jazz queen Datuk Sheila Majid at the A Time Travel Diskoria With Special Guest Sheila Majid concert at Zepp Kuala Lumpur here on June 14.
"We have always hoped for this and we are truly grateful for this opportunity because Sheila's song"... when we were told we would be performing with her, it felt like a dream come true," said Merdi Simanjuntak at a recent press conference to announce the concert. "This is Diskoria's third concert in Malaysia, but it is the first time involving a collaboration with a local artiste. Honestly, we are very excited to return to Kuala Lumpur.
The 90-minute concert, organised by MYdeteksi in collaboration with Sembang Kari Entertainment and Tourism Malaysia, will also feature the band Jemput Dengar as the opening act.
