Pasukan Sheikh Jassim kini melengkapkan proses seterusnya sebelum menamatkan pemilikan 18 tahun Keluarga Glazer, manakala penyokong United berharap beliau membeli saham 100 peratus bagi menghapuskan terus legasi jutawan Amerika Syarikat itu. Sheikh Jassim berjanji akan membayar hutang United berjumlah 725 juta pound , tertinggi sejak 2010 selain menaik taraf Old Trafford, pusat latihan Carrington dan meneruskan pelaburan pasukan.
