The Strongsville Planning Commission has approved Sheetz's plan to demolish and rebuild its existing Ohio 82-Prospect location. The new store will feature a drive-thru, outdoor dining, 10 electric-vehicle charging stations, and a propane exchange area. Sheetz is expanding its EV charging infrastructure across its locations.

The new Sheetz will include a drive-thru for the restaurant, 12 outdoor dining seats, 10 electric-vehicle charging stations and exterior space to buy and exchange propane canisters.The Strongsville Planning Commission approved the tear-down-and-rebuild plan Dec. 19.

While the existing store and restaurant measures about 5,100 square feet, according to the fiscal office, the new store and restaurant will measure about 6,100 square feet, according to the site plan. Sheetz, headquartered in Altoona, Pa., has more than 750 stores, gas stations and restaurants in Maryland, Michigan, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia and West Virginia.
