The Colorado standout believes he should be the top pick in the NFL draft but is embracing the process.

Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders warms up before an NCAA college football game against Oklahoma State Friday, Nov. 29, 2024, in Boulder, Colo., is here to meet with NFL teams. He was seen speaking with front-office members of the Tennessee Titans, who hold the No. 1 pick in the 2025 NFL draft, and the Cleveland Browns, who have the No. 2 pick.

“I came here for a purpose,” Sanders said Saturday. “To meet with the teams so they can understand me and get to know me.” He later added, “I like that I’m able to get in the forefront of everything, and they’re able to understand me and ask me whatever questions they want. I’m not ducking. I ain’t hiding. I’m right here, alive in the flesh, able to answer whatever questions are out there.”Despite not practicing, Sanders has been absorbing valuable knowledge about the NFL by attending practices at the University of North Texas and speaking with coaches working at the Shrine Bowl.
