Ridged potato chips being weighed before being bagged at Shearer Foods' plant in Massilon. MASSILLON, Ohio — Massillon-based potato chip maker Shearer’s Foods is expanding, and will open a new facility in Moraine, about five miles south of Dayton.

Two other projects won tax credits Monday morning, including one in Northeast Ohio. Risk International, a provider of risk management consulting and employee benefits advisory services, is expanding its presence in Dublin and its headquarters in Fairlawn. It plans to hire another 45 people, and won a tax credit worth $520,000
