Shawn Mendes Delays Forthcoming LP, ‘Shawn,’ to Nov. 15

Shawn Mendes has announced he will delay the release of his forthcoming album, 'Shawn,' to Nov. 15.

, which was originally set to drop on Oct. 18. The LP marks the singer’s fifth album, following 2020’s . “My team and i have decided to push the album release date to November 15th. We just need a little bit more time to bring some new inspiration and ideas to life. I love you guys thank you for being so patient, I can’t wait to see you guys at the next few shows.”“Music really can be medicine,” he wrote in an Instagram post announcing the LP.

It was written and co-produced by Mendes, alongside collaborators Scott Harris, Mike Sabath, Nate Mercereau, and Eddie Benjamin, with additional songs co-written by Amy Allen and Ethan Gruska.
