Shawn Levy is in “highly serious work” in the newly shared photos from the set of the highly anticipated Stranger Things Season 5.
. The last photo also highlights Levy’s name in the director’s chair, written in the customary Stranger Things font.
It was announced earlier this year that Levy will be directing at least a single episode of the fifth and final season, with the set photos confirming that the director has already started his work on Stranger Things Season 5. Levy is no stranger to Hawkins, having previously directed a few episodes of Seasons 1 to 4. In addition to directing, Levy also served as one of the show’s executive producers.
Production on Stranger Things Season 5 season officially began earlier this year, though it was initially meant to take place last year. However, due to Hollywood strikes at the time, it was delayed for over seven months. The original cast members will return to Hawkins to mark the end of the Upside Down saga. This includes Brown as Eleven, McLaughlin as Lucas Sinclair, Matarazzo as Dustin Henderson, Finn Wolfhard as Mike Wheeler, Sadie Sink as Max Mayfield, Priah Ferguson as Erica Sinclair,No exact release date has been set yet for Stranger Things’ final season, but it is confirmed to be arriving on Netflix sometime in 2025. All four seasons of Stranger Things are available to stream on the platform.
