Rev. Al Sharpton is hosting several city and state elected officials this morning for his annual Christmas Dinner and Toy Distribution at the House of Justice in Harlem immediately after the weekly rally.
This will be the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic that NAN will host in-person dining for Christmas.
Thanksgiving marked the first time since 2019 that dining was held within the House of Justice, as NAN distributed packaged to-go meals in 2020 and 2021 at the site. Politicians scheduled to attend include State Sen. Cordell Cleare, U.S. Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand and City Council Members Rita Joseph, Marjorie Velázquez and Shekar Krishnan.
