Australia’s economy could potentially experience a “sharp slowdown” in the second half of this year and heading into next year, according to the Australian Financial Review Economics Editor John Kehoe.

“We do need the economy to slow down quite a bit to bring inflation down, unfortunately,

that’s going to mean unemployment ticking up a bit,” he told Sky News host Sharri Markson.
