SharkNinja’s BlastBoss is a handheld battery-powered blower that weighs just 1.5 pounds but can clear heavy debris with a 190 mph blast of air.

SharkNinja has announced a new cleaning tool called the BlastBoss. It looks like a handheld vacuum but functions like a leaf blower with an adjustable air blast that can reach 190 mph. You can use it to clear dead leaves in the fall, but the BlastBoss is designed for both outdoor and indoor use alongside three included attachments.

The BlastBoss is available starting today through SharkNinja’s online store and Amazon for $149.99 in five color options including charcoal, dove, strawberry, sky, and sage. You can find battery-powered leaf blowers for much less than that, but the BlastBoss’ appeal is its compact and ergonomic design that weighs less than 1.5 pounds on its own. SharkNinja says the BlastBoss’ battery life will be up to 49 minutes, but that will vary based on the mode and how it’s being used. It can be used on its own to blast food crumbs off a stroller or sawdust off a workbench, or you can use the BlastBoss’ variable speed trigger to reduce the intensity for dealing with dust on a desk or bookshelf without sending everything else flying. The attachable accessories include an extension wand for directing the blast under or behind furniture and appliances, a precision nozzle that focuses the airflow for smaller areas like window tracks, and a broom that enhances the effectiveness of your sweeping. Leaf blowers are enjoying a bit of a design renaissance at the moment. Last November, Hoto announced a new leaf blower that looks more like a sci-fi prop than a backyard tool, while at CES 2026, the Tone T1 debuted with a design its creators claim allows it to operate up to 40 percent quieter than the competition.
