Apple TV+ released today a trailer and new images for their upcoming thriller series Shantaram. The story stars Charlie Hunnam as a fugitive living in Bombay and trying to figure out his life's purpose in the 80s. His seclusion is put in jeopardy when he meets and falls in love with a mysterious woman. The new show is set to premiere a month from now.
COLLIDER VIDEO OF THE DAY In addition, the trailer plays up the thriller aspects of the series, especially Ford’s relationship with Karla Saaranen , who frequently blurts out the type of sentences that make us wonder what her deal is. Last but not least, the Shantaram trailer also reveals that, even though Ford is a wanted man, he finds a path to redemption in Bombay – which will make his life even harder if he’s forced to escape one more time.
