Pro Football Hall of Famer turned ESPN personality Shannon Sharpe got humbled by paparazzi when he was motioned to make way for actress Selena Gomez passing by him Monday night.
While Sharpe responds to a question the cameraman asks about USA’s performance at the FIBA World Cup — he cuts off the former NFL receiver saying, “Hold on, one second” as security guards clear the path for Gomez.
As soon as the camera guy was finished getting his coverage of Gomez, he quickly headed back to Sharpe and apologized for cutting him off.“Apologize about that Shannon,” the cameraman says, to which Sharpe simply responds “nah, bruh, you good,” before continuing his take on USA’s recent outing at the FIBA World Cup.
The photographer then throws in his last words to congratulate Sharpe on his new role as host alongside Stephen A. Smith on ESPN’s First Take. “The kid didn’t deserve it. I mean it was an illegal hit; we all know that,” Sharpe responds. “But he didn’t deserve death threats,” Sharpe goes before shutting his door.
