Shannon Fentiman has been referred to Queensland's parliamentary ethics committee over a social media video an LNP MP claimed 'unleashed a wave of cyberbullying'.
Queensland's health minister has been referred to state parliament's powerful ethics committee over a "potentially misleading" social media video an LNP MP claimed "unleashed a wave of cyberbullying".
The following day, she told parliament the posts had gone viral, resulting in a "wave of cyberbullying at me that, quite frankly, has been horrific". The minister argued the video was a true and unedited excerpt from the broadcast of proceedings that day."I have reached the view that there is an arguable case that the published shortened extract of the proceedings, in the absence of the full context of the question asked, could have been potentially misleading," he said.
"It is also extremely serious as it undermines the authority of the Speaker and risks the order of the House."'Cross your legs': Queensland MP provides context as she's referred to ethics committee over accusation 'It's been hell': Family relieved as man jailed for stealing girlfriend's superannuation hours after sudden deathSubmarine boss refuses to answer questions over multi-billion-dollar AUKUS paymentsUK prime minister apologises after being criticised by veterans for leaving D-Day commemorations earlyBackyard veggies off the menu after 'forever chemicals' detected in Byron Shire'That's twice now': Broncos coach knows teams are coming for Reece Walsh, but worries...
