Trevor Slattery is returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as Ben Kingsley is reportedly joining the cast of Marvel's Wonder Man Disney+ series. Audiences were introduced to Trevor Slattery in Iron Man 3, as Ben Kingsley's character was involved in one of the MCU's most controversial villain twists.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY The Phase 4 movie introduced plenty of important pieces of the Multiverse Saga, including Simu Liu's Shang-Chi, the MCU's real Mandarin in Shang-Chi's father Wenwu, the powerful and mysterious Ten Rings weapons, and more. Shang-Chi also became influential to the MCU by bringing director Destin Daniel Cretton into the fold.
Trevor Slattery's return for Wonder Man is likely to come as a big surprise at first, but he does fit the potential Disney+ series quite well upon reflection. Simon Williams a.k.a. Wonder Man is best known for being an Avenger, love interest for Scarlet Witch, and part of the West Coast Avengers in the comics. As part of his comic story, Simon eventually became a stuntman and actor in Hollywood.
Seeing more of Trevor Slattery in the Multiverse Saga will mean that Marvel must explain what happened to him after Shang-Chi. He was last seen in Ta-Lo, and it seemed possible that Trevor was going to stay there after the battle against the Dweller-In-Darkness. It now seems that Trevor did make it back home and is using his second chance at being a free man to pursue his acting dreams once again.
