Florian Munteanu, who portrayed Razor Fist in the movie, has addressed the future of his character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Munteanu’s Razor Fist became quite the fan favorite, leading to ongoing demands for his return in Shang-Chi 2, and maybe in the recently announcedWhile promoting his much-anticipated film Borderlands, Florian Munteanu seemingly hinted at his potential return as Razor Fist in the MCU.
When asked, Munteanu immediately joked about getting into some kind of trouble with Marvel and said, “Are you trying to get me in trouble here?” “I think we all love Shang-Chi. I hope you did as well. The works continue for the sequel, obviously. And now the wait for the next phase, took a while, and now they’re prepping The Avengers, the fifth one,” he added.
Talking about his potential return, Munteanu further stated, “The news came out that a lot of characters might be in there. We’ll see. We’ll see what happens.” The fact that he did not deny his involvement and kept the answer vague could lead to fan speculation about him being in talks for Razor Fist’s return.
