Sundowns are in the group stages of Champions League while Gallants are campaigning in the Confederation Cup group stages. Gallants have punched above their weight with two victories and a single defeat to be second in Group A. In their battle for a spot in the quarterfinals, it looked like Sundowns were set for another easy victory on their return to domestic games.
