Global superstar Shakira will receive the Video Vanguard Award at the 2023 VMAs. Her performance at the ceremony will be her first since 2006.
The "Hips Don't Lie" singer is set to receive the Video Vanguard Award at MTV's 2023 Video Music Awards on Sept. 12. She will accept the award and perform at the ceremony for the first time since 2006.
The Columbian-born megastar is a four-time VMA winner and 30-time nominee. She won her first VMA — the award for International Viewer's Choice — Latin America — in 2000 for "Ojos Así.
