Shaina Magdayao couldn’t help but express how grateful she is for her healthy and fit body when she had her first performance in ASAP Natin ‘To after eight years.
The dancer-actress shared her joy on a social media post where she revealed how she thought she would never be “healthy enough” to dance again. Shaina opened up on how dancing was a huge part of her 25 years in the showbiz industry as she started performing on the ASAP stage at just 13 years old. “Looking back, it was really a gift, my fate. But 8 years ago, I had to quit and give up on that gift, that fate and reality, my being a dancer because I got diagnosed with Hypothyroidism… and so I just focused on being an actress since I NEVER thought I’d be healthy enough to dance again,” she said.
On her Instagram post, the 33-year-old thanked her GForce brothers and sisters for giving her the strength to return to dancing. She ended her post: “I feel as if a part of me is alive agin! Thank you for waking up the dancer in me. It is truly an honor to be back on the ASAP stage again.”
