KUALA LUMPUR: Presiden Warisan, Shafie Apdal dilihat berada di rumah Presiden PPBM, Muhyiddin Yassin, di mana pimpinan PPBM bertemu malam tadi.Ditanya pemberita yang menunggunya apakah sokongan Warisan kekal dengan Mahathir, Shafie menjawab: “Sudah tentu”.

Terdahulu, seorang ahli majlis pimpinan tertinggi PPBM memaklumkan parti itu beri sokongan penuh kepada pencalonan Muhyiddin sebagai perdana menteri ke-8. Redzuan Mohd Yusof berkata sokongan itu selepas Muhyiddin bertemu Pengerusi Dr Mahathir Mohamad di Putrajaya tengah hari tadi, dan beliau yakin dengan sokongan 11 ahli Parlimen bebas yang diketuai bekas timbalan presiden PKR, Mohamed Azmin Ali.

Turut kelihatan keluar dari kediaman Muhyiddin adalah bekas naib presiden PKR, Zuraida Kamaruddin dan setiausaha politik Azmin, Hilman Idham.
